PELICAN SAFE PAYMENT SYSTEM

With a mind on the convenience and safety of its customers, Pelican has provided a credit card and/or financial liabilities payment system by our customers with our company.

We are working together on this procedure with Superpay, a firm specialized in integrating financial
agents (banks and credit and charge card operators) with e-commerce sites, with Comodo, a digital certification firm, and with Cielo, which actually authorizes payments.

This system accepts payment using VISA and Mastercard credit and charge cards. As many as 3 installments may be paid for sums above R$ 1200.00, otherwise sight payment only.

CREATING A PASSWORD

Customers using the system should request our commercial department for a system access password.
This password is created automatically by our system and sent only to the customer being registered.
Draft of message received by the customer:
Once the customer has a password, it is able to access the system. The sum or sums subject to payment
should be previously informed to Pelican’s commercial or financial area, which will record the sum
payable in the system. This sum will remain available for two days and if not confirmed by the customer
it will be eliminated.

ACCESSING THE SYSTEM

For a customer to access the system, the following Internet page should be used, accessed through
Pelican’s site or directly. On this first display a choice is made on the type of tax enrollment CPF
(Individual Taxpayer’s Registry) or CNPJ (Corporate Taxpayer’s Registry) followed by the enrollment
number and password received by email from Pelican, with the precaution of typing in capital and small
letters as in the password, concluding with the validation code in the image below.
If this information is correct and the customer clicks on the enter button, the system will go to a second
display showing a list of payments created by the customer.

SELECTING PAYMENT

The customer selects from this list the payment it wishes to make, and is able to see in the Status
column payments already made or outstanding by means of its credit or charge card. Information on the
credit or charge card will appear on the display after clicking on the pay button.

INSERTING CARD DATA

Credit or charge card data are completed in this display, a choice is made to select the charge or credit
functionality and the banner and payment terms desired, should the payment exceed R$ 1,200.00. A
click on the pay button will trigger clearance for payment with Cielo, which will inform the payment’s
approval or rejection, at which time the display will confirm payment and simultaneously an email of
proof of payment will be forwarded to the customer, to the financial area and to Pelican’s commercial
area.

PROOF OF PAYMENT EMAIL DRAFT

The display finalizing the transaction in the system is similar to the email. In case of the payment’s
rejection, detected by the customer as a red X and a transaction rejected text, the system will send no
email. Rejection may take place due to a typing error of card data or the transaction’s non-approval by
the bank/card operator.
